Corey Sanders Official Senior Year Mixtape

Here's Dematha vs. Dr. Phillips video from December 2014. Rutgers target Jonathan Laurent is No. 4 in dark blue.

He has his moments in this one, especially around 1:40, 3:10 and 3:53. DeMatha plays at a ridiculously high-level.

Don't underestimate the impact that a dynamic point guard that knows how to dribble penetrate can have on a team.

Kid has some good talent. Is a bit cocky. Don't like how he looks at players after he jams one and when the one guy was on the floor. Hopefully EJ will put in him his place before he gets t'd up. Remember, he'll be going up against the big boys not high school.

Agree.... but, nothing wrong with playing with a little attitude.. He may get t'd up and Jordan will need to make sure he plays smart.... but..... the big boys play with attitude as well.

I love this. I hope I see him staring in the face of a lot of guys all next year.

I like the attitude, we need somebody with an edge at RU.

I wasn't there for the game between DeMatha and Dr. Phillips, but  Laurent had a game-high 22 points

Totally fine with the attitude- this team needs some "TUDE"! And yes, a solid PG can make all the difference in the world.

Look at ND this year with Grant back. They were under .500 last year!

Definitely looking forward to this young man coming to RU and bringing some swagger with him. We need a point guard who is athletic and plays with confidence in the worst way. Sanders may be a very large upgrade at this position since Myles was playing a position that he had neither the body nor the skills to play.

The one kid he starred at on the floor after making a layup and foul was Taco. They kidded with each other before the game. Corey said he was going to dunk on him. Taco is over 7 foot tall.

But I agree we don't need the in your face stuff.

Is there a caveat with Sanders? Grades or anything?

Aggs, good stuff linking dematha tape.

Laurent shot looks fundamentally sound. Shoots on 2, comes down on 2. Mid to high release, good hand positioning on ball. Good stuff.

Rock- Stop. Just stop. This kid is EXACTLY what Rutgers needs. We need some kids that bring the extra sauce. We need some attitude. We don't need sleepwalkers. Let him stare all he wants. Staring doesn't make him cocky per se... it makes him passionate. Emotional. Remember the swagger & emotion Sammy Sanders brought? Not the most gifted of basketball players but he was an ATHLETE and he went out there and tried to entertain. I remember he used to do the "raise the roof" gesture after a great play. We need more of that.

Side note... How is CS only top 75? How f#ckin good do you have to be these days to be top 20? I mean geez. His handle & hops are off the charts. I'm salivating. He may need a wallpaper. Phuck it, he needs a wallpaper.
