CVS Won't Return This Season

Official statement from Rutgers:

"The invitation to play in the NCAA tournament is a crowning achievement for any team," said Stringer. "It speaks to the great effort on the part of our players and we are certainly hopeful that they will be rewarded on Monday. I am truly disappointed that I will not be able to join them, but I need to listen to my doctors. Being away from my team has been more difficult than I could have imagined, but thankfully they are under the great care of Tim Eatman and my assistants. I wish everyone the best and I will be cheering every step of the way."

A little disappointing to hear, but not shocking at this point. I'm guessing the star recruits know just what her illness is and when she will return. I have no info however, nor do my friends who follow the program closely (or they aren't telling me, lol).
Coach Eatman has seemingly done a very good job in Coach Stringer's absence, and that's no surprise considering how long he's been with C Viv and his head coaching experience.
Would be nice if we get a 7 seed or better on Monday night.

I wish for a rapid return to full health for Coach Stringer.

Dubious information in the release from scarletnation.com: RPI is 25, and Scarlet Knights are 4-2 under Eatman (though loss to MI might have preceded his being named Interim HC).

I wish C Viv. only the best and a speedy recovery. One's health comes first before anything else. We now know just how serious these health issues have been for her. It makes the idea of coaching basketball so secondary in light of what has occurred.
