Not trying to pour salt in an open wound, but this could be a good thing for you in the long run. Flood isn't the guy. Anyone who tries to convince you of, "diamond in the rough" recruiting is a loser, plain and simple. You need someone with some energy who can get your kids to stay at home. Forget FL, forget TX, just keep your NJ kids. If you do, you'll be in good shape.

I'm convinced that this squad is talented but poorly coached. You're right about the "diamond in the rough" line though.

Its a bad day when a PSU is smarter than most of our fanbase. Most of our fanbase think getting 2 and 3 stars can build a winning team in the B1G. They go crazy over every recruit commitment, actually believing all our recruits are hidden gems.

Granted, I can't stand PITT so TIFWIW but I've heard the same crap from their fans for over a decade. There will always be diamonds in the rough (Carl Nassib) but the CFB standings are littered with Alabamas and Ohio States over Boises.

Thanks for visiting. Don't you have your own game on now?

Yeah, but I lurk here quite a bit. I've been very consistent about my opinion of RU being a huge opportunity for the right person. If I had to pick between a job at PITT, MD or RU I would take RU any day of the week. That being said, I've never been to your campus so don't know if it may present challenges. Your state is loaded with talent though and no other school in-state can compete for it.

I don't mind the post at all. He's right. No need to be defensive about it.

No crap. We all have known this for a very long time. There is nothing a opposing fan can say which we don't already know.

BTW, PSU has their own problems for sure. That being said, if Franklin isn't the guy, the cupboard certainly won't be bare. Flood is going to leave you seriously devoid of talent.
