#DFC2017 is now featuring SEVEN of the nj.com top 20 teams in the state!!!!!! As of 1/2/17, The Patrick School (#1), St. Anthony (#4), Newark East Side (#5), Mater Dei (#8), The Ranney School (#11), Immaculate Conception (#18), St. Peter's Prep (#20) will all be seen at the Dan Finn Classic ... Frederick Douglass Academy out of New York is currently an undefeated 5-0, and Brighton High School out of Massachusetts is currently #10 in the Boston Globe polls. To date, the Dan Finn Foundation has given out approximately $750,000 in scholarships and to other charitable and humanitarian causes such as the Wounded Warrior Project, the families of fallen Jersey City police officers, Marc DiNardo and Melvin Santiago, St. Michael’s (Union City) Sports Assn., Superstorm Sandy relief through Shore 2 Recover, Boston Strong through the Charlestown Boys Club, and many, many other worthwhile projects

At least 4 people are living today through organ donations by Dan Finn. His heart beats strong in a man in Charleston, S.C., his corneas have allowed a young boy in Pennsylvania to see, and his kidney and pancreas were transplanted into a man from New York who had suffered through nearly twenty years of dialysis. Dan Finn continues to give each and every day, even in his absence. #DF14always

All of those who work the day of the Dan Finn Classic are VOLUNTEERS. The referees who work each game, the kitchen staff, the security members, ticket takers...every last person donates their time to assure Dan Finn's name is carried on through scholarships and other humanitarian efforts. We couldn't do it without them!
