Did Diallo end up anywhere?

I believe that is his plan. I think he has a year or a year and a half of eligibility left.

Our luck he transfers to a Big Ten school and somewhere along the line puts a dagger (blocked shot, free throw, dunk) through us in the closing seconds of a meaningful game, maybe NCAA playoff selection at stake.

If he is going to school here, why wouldn't he just stay on the team...? Was he kicked off the team...? Trying to save a year of eligibility...?

That would be our luck, but my guess is that he will transfer "down" somewhere where he can get some PT.

Wish him well but he won't be a scholarship player at another B1G school.

Best of luck to him. Proud he wants to get his Rutgers undergrad degree and be a Scarlet Knight forever.

There's probably a dozen+ scenarios that could fit for him - he seems to be in a great spot as far as preparing for his long term future -
According to Rutgers info his major is Human Resource Management. Indications are that he's smart & disciplined - Fall semester 2016 - Ibrahima Diallo was named to the Dean’s List (think he was the one player on the team) Pretty sure he is reasonably fluent in a few languages ( at least English & French).
Quite conceivable that he identifies a really good school with a good smaller conference program - gets a suitable & valuable grad degree & gets an ample amount of play time - maybe positions himself for a few years of international play ... and then via some skillful networking - parlays all of that into an interesting & prosperous future career.

Rutgers would be smart to maintain close ties - keep him a 'Loyal Alum" and in spirit - a Scarlet Knight forever

I'm asking why anyone would want diallo on this roster? Myles and mamadou are more talented and are basically guaranteed to play ahead of him. We used his scholarship on mamadou..basically shows the staff agrees.

Good for him to put education first, then think of playing basketball ( somewhere) after getting his degree, or just go into the business world.
Seems like his future comes first and he knows a pro career might not be in it.
Playing as a grad transfer might be mainly to get free Grad school courses because he feels a pro career might not be in his future.
