I never had a problem with threads freezing up when I was on Firefox. I switched over to Explorer several months back and now very often threads keep freezing up for me. I keep getting messages to recover Rivals. I am not a computer expert but wonder if anyone might have the same problem as I am or know what the cause might be. This becomes frustrating when I am trying to read a thread and I have to wait for them to un freeze before I can read it again. I scan my computer and I have no threats or such most of the time so I am confused. Any help is appreciated.

It's horrible. It freezes up a lot. I don't know for sure, but, it often happens to me when the "Auto Save" option kicks in.

Got so frustrated with freeze ups for Rivals on IE I switched to Firefox. Same thing was happening with Fox News. I believe the problem is the ever changing ads. It is much better on Firefox, but now I occasionally get delays do to "long running scripts." Won't use Chrome.

I have the same problem with this site. I had a similar issue with NJ.com.....but I don't visit that site anymore. It's gotta be something to do with the ads.
