Does anyone have a list of how many freshman RU students have been accepted in NB each year?

I was trying to find this online. Would be interesting to look at given the record number of freshman accepted this school year.

I imagine the info is out there, and I assume you mean total freshman enrolled (instead of accepted/admitted). The size of entering 2018 freshman class at NB was approx. 7,000 according to this Rutgers release:

https://news.rutgers.edu/rutgers-cl...lished-and-largest-ever/20180830#.XAqxh-hKjD4

A similar release for the class that entered 4 years ago in 2014 indicates the size was approx. 6,400.

https://news.rutgers.edu/news-relea...lished-and-largest-ever/20140901#.XAqzMOhKjD5

Assuming somewhat steady growth, Rutgers-NB entering enrollment has been increasing by about 150 additional freshman per year, on average, at least over the past four years.

If so, that's a hell of a jump from 6300 to 7000. Where are they putting 700 additional first year students?

I have no knowledge of the situation, but just math/logic says it could have come from a number of places, including but not limited to:

1. More graduations than the previous year
2. More transfer out than the previous year
3. Fewer transfers in than the previous year

You'd have to look at the total number of students to see if there was some fundamental change in student population versus just a change in the mix of students.

I believe part of this is the rise of apartments being built up off campus near college ave Easton ave etc. More and more options for students to move off campus opening up university dorms. Off campus houses being knocked down more and more frequently.
