everyone is blasting Laviano. This loss rests on the backs of the defense and defensive coaches. You score 41 points you are expected to win.No adjustment made, came out in 2nd half couldn't tackle, were not in right positions to stop plays.

I'm inclined to agree... I have not read one single Rossi-bashing thread since the loss. I thought there would be tons of threads on how piss poor the defense was down the stretch... they're the real reason why we lost.

Most of today's Laviano blasting relates to an illadvised snarky Instagram that he put up (he might have felt justified - but should have suppressed the urge)

Laviano did well - but he was not without some serious flaws - his first pass of the second half was an int. that contributed to setting the tone for the debacle.

Generally I don't think people dislike him - He played tough, took hits, he ran ... but it would be great if he could plug the gaps in his game.
