Elias Reynolds decommits

I'm sure when the new Coach and his staff is in place, he'll give us an opportunity. If he goes elsewhere, that's ok. After the hiring of Flood, I care much more about putting into place an excellent coaching staff as opposed to keeping recruits with the status quo.

I kind of think we should change the official name to The University of New Jersey-Rutgers

"when things die down and become more complacent"

Young man, things cannot become more or less complacent. If you come and play football at RU and, at least, the school will help you with your vocabulary.
or is that usage? As in: When the message board dies down and becomes more complacent.

Well, maybe he wants Rutgers to show an uncritical satisfaction with it's achievements. Rutgers did not show complacency today. They showed a total lack of complacency and the status quo.

Maybe. But what do I know? My sentence structure in my comment sucks anyway, not to mention the extraneous "and" I just edited out (and the comma splice I have in this run-on sentence).

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when he re-commits to us. Until then, his English skills are suspect. LOL

Well, good luck fella ... if it were me, I'd have taken a deep breath and given it a week to see how things were looking.... who knows - this might just turn into a far better opportunity than when you first committed !
Then again, I would also have made sure I knew the actual name of the school that I had committed to attend.

Or when you idiots on the message board become more complacent.
I think the odds of the idiots on the message board becoming complacent are about 98.6% against.

Edit: Relocated the percent sign to the correct side of the percentage. I'm all over this English stuff. Ain't I?

Really pissed he wasn't going to play for Flood and get his head kicked in by any team with a pulse?

I think he got pissed when he saw RU fans booing their qb as he went back into the Maryland game after recovering from a big hit. Expect more.

Ironically, Flood was called by Barchi while Flood was meeting with Reynolds' English teacher in a Brooklyn library to see if they could adjust a term paper grade or two....

Kids will do what they think is in their best interest.

If they want to stick with their RU commit then they'll be welcome with open arms. If not? Then I wish them well. But whatever happens with this class, showing KF the door was absolutely the right thing to do.

Once again many many of these commits will leave RU, its going to be bad.

However the 2017 class is now a clean slate, it would have been a disaster under Flood.

Well after some of the comments here I am not too sure if he would want to continue to consider Rutgers. I thought he expressed his thoughts openly and clearly and one should be able to understand why he or anyone else might want to reconsider and look at other schools that will now be snipping away at our recruits. Don't you think we would not and may also be doing the same where we can.
