There is no argument that this season is pretty much a bust. The preseason hype was just that, hype. Although both 5's were still pretty good overall, they were also unable to carry the team on their backs most of the time. The supporting class was just not either good enough or too raw to help all that much and we ended up with a losing record. The fact that we ended up with 4 freshmen starting says it all.
I know we are all hoping ,against the odds, that the team will somehow win a couple of games in the BIG tourney with a lineup that has shown improvement as the season progressed. At this point, I think this is the best possible outcome to end the season. Anything better would be a shock for sure and fatigue would certainly become a serious factor with the absence of tough bench support.

No game and no lead are safe!

However, we beat a ranked team this year as well, so anything could happen. If we win two games (USC and Purdue) that's a pretty good outcome tbh.

No it wouldn’t. It would have just drive more pointless debate on the “what if” of this pathetic season. This is the most “Rutgers” Rutgers season in my 28 years of being a fan. It needs to end ASAP.

Just
End
The
Season

Screw that! Who wants to see us lose tonight? "Do not go gentle into that good night."

Beat USC.

Show you're better than the defensive "effort" we gave at Mackey and fight what must be an extremely confident Purdue team tomorrow.

Take down Michigan. This time, Dylan doesn't lay off of Burnett and there's no miracle 30' winner at the buzzer.
