First Time This Year

This was the first game of the season that RU had over 200 yards passing. Yes, it took us eight games to crack that mark. Imagine if we hadn't played Gio today.

If we hadn't played Gio today people would have defended Laviano by saying he was under pressure all day long and nobody would have done any better.

Instead, we saw that the offense can look completely different with a QB that can pass and run a bit. Gio got hit hard, but he hung in there. It's a shame we didn't have anyone better than Laviano in the coaches' eyes, because Chris should be playing in a lower division.

You could see Gio's arm was tired in the 4th quarter, but still a good performance overall.
