Fred Hill....shaheen had such great things to say about coach P. Really raved...he was impressive. And yes I introduced myself as a Rutgers guy. My son yelled go RU.

Freddy still makes my skin crawl.

If you are a Rutgers fan, you hate but respect Shaheen Holloway. He was a fierce guard who killed you when he was on.

Really good player. I think most coaches out there like Pikiell and know he can flat out coach. If you're just a fan of the game like i am; you could see that very clearly after watching a few games last year. And although we won so many to start the season, I think his best coaching was in conference play as the seasoned progressed. His game planning and changing of defenses is what is so apparent. We were just totally overmatched in a few games against Purdue for example and we didn't match up well against a few others but he overcame a lot of that in other games.

All Day Holloway, his AAU nickname. Same class I believe as God Shamgod, formerly Shamgod Wells. Man the point guards in the Big East back in the day were total beasts!!! Eric Barkley, Kahlid El Amin, etc. So many good 1s back in the mid to late 90s. All ankle breaker types.

FHJ has been nothing but class ( at least to my face ), as have members of his staff I've kept in touch with over the years, as it pertains to Rutgers.
