I think Caitlyn Jenner should be our AD.
She's media savvy, has an athletic background, would do wonders for our Olympic sports, and takes PC to a new level.....and somehow kind of fits in with our administration.

Two years ago I felt that Flood should have been promoted out of the way - thank him profusely for stepping into the HC position, praise him for adapting to the HC role - then reward him with a promotion to Senior Executive Assistant AD.... (and then talk him up in the AD community as an up & comer - help him get his own AD position at another school) .
