Flood should be fired on Sunday

.... how about those METS !!!!! uhhh.. that's right, they are still down 2-1 ..... GIANTS better win.

I have tried to stay out of this, but he really needs to be replaced. I don't think letting him go now would really do any more harm than keeping him for the rest of the season.
I can't see us beating any other team this year. All Army has to do is throw the damn thing!

Let him go, Wilson as interim for rest of the season, and start calling agents. The sooner the better.
Wilson is horrible as well.... Our OC isn't bad at all, just the defense can't shut it down to give the Offense a chance to do anything. Rossi and Flood, gone tomorrow morning !!! Make the changes now....

tomorrow's plan

  1. axe flood
  2. axe rossi
  3. promote bob fraser to DC, he's done it previously for RU
  4. name mcdaniels or wilson interim
  5. name rettig the starter.
  6. name an RB starter
  7. call schiano, gauge interest
  8. if interest, gather all high level boosters and make offer
  9. if greg no... joe moglia, matt rhule, dj durkin, tom hermann, others on julie's list
  10. win back fan base
  11. give coach headstart on keeping recruits and flipping some
  12. go into 2016, excited about the future

Could you imagine what Flood's record at RU would have been if he had been the one to somehow be hired after Shea and didn't have the benefit of the talent left behind by Schiano to save his butt for a few seasons?? -Now there's a thought to send chills up your spine.

This is where having an AD with no football experience is an issue. And this is where having a President with no "football school" background is an issue.

Thanks Obama.
no offense intended ...but how would you know that to be a fact?... just asking

maybe there's a huge snow storm in the midwest and Flood can't get back and they pull a Gary Waters on him...

This guy should be coaching the annual NYC High School Thanksgiving Football game on WOR..(if it was still around. that's where he fits in best). Although it might be difficult to tell him from the Turkey.

the play calling today was bad, but the lack of adjustment, unforgivable.

When you have a talent gap like the one we witnessed today it doesn't matter who's coaching your team.

Yes, we need a better coach, maybe better coordinators. What would have been the score with a very coach 24-48 or maybe 30-48? I can't speak for everyone but I like W's, not competitive L's. Yes I agree with everyone we need a better coach, but we desperately need better athletes. JMHO.

But now it is painfully obvious that we have no game day ability and player development is suspect. Therefore, recruitment has peaked.

He is worse than Terry Shea he just has more talent to work with.

Seriously this needs to end tomorrow.
During the Sad Shea Scene at least you had NO expectations. Currently with many more talented players RU should be doing pretty well. WE aren't and there has to be a reason for this. Most people here know the reason.

There was little talent gap when these kids signed their letters of intent. The talent gap was created by the lack of coaching and development within this program. There is talent on this team they are just not being put in the best position to win.

He was not trying to be competitive, just to run the ball, tick off clock and get back n the plane home. He did it last year, too. Think it had a lot to do with Fridge retiring. Here was one of his comments as he was deciding what to do....

“You know, as long as I like it, I'll do it,” he said. “I'm getting up in age. Some things are a little tougher on me than others. I'm going to sit back after the season and kind of reflect on everything. I like winning. I don't like losing 45-3, I can tell you that. That's not in my DNA.”

The difference between Fridge and Flood is Fridge had a brilliant mind and he could scheme and actually try to be competitive and if things went his way, he might actually pull off an upset. Flood is an OL coach. Big difference. He's mentally not anywhere near the level of football brilliance it takes to win as an underdog. He's not stupid, he's just not brilliant or even gifted.

If Flood was fired tomorrow, I would throw a huge impromptu party...what a day of celebration that will be when he's gone. It would make my entire fall season.

What fact are you questioning?

Julie Herman was not responsible in any way for football or mens basketball at Louisville

President Barchi was from.. what was it.. from wiki:

"He was provost of the University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2004. Barchi served as president of Thomas Jefferson University from 2004 to 2012. Since 2012, he is the 20th and current President of Rutgers University."

And if you thought I meant Obama.. he was from some Indonesian grammar school, some private Hawaiian HS, Occidental College, Columbia and Harvard.. but the "Thanks Obama" was a joke that goes back to him reading some mean tweets about him on Kimmel... about 1 minute mark

Ok. If is time. Let KF go.

Evaluate the available talent, then make a selection. Go ahead and pay them the going rate$3,000,000 plus per year. And give them 4 years to break .500 in conference games.

Rinse, and repeat in 5 years.

Or, sit back and go 3-9 every year. It is Julie's choice.
