I don't bet but when I saw the over/under for RU wins was 2.5 I thought it might be a good one.
Now there's talk about playing only conference games which I don't think we win 3 this year if you knock out Monmouth.
Any idea what happens to a futures bet that you've already made on this?

If the number of games are cut, the bet will likely be cancelled.

If there's any number of regular season games besides 12, bet will be voidd

Yeah as everyone said totals bets will be void

I was in Vegas in March right before this all by days and had bet some MLB total wins which actually are now void so I have to mail back to get my money. However for betting World Series champs they are still treating as live action which I am now mixed thoughts on. What can you do.

I havea $50 world series bet and when I asked William Hill, they said they'll make a decision once the MLB finalizes their plans for the season.

No bet.

bet returned (must return ticket within the timeframe required by state law - usually 90 - 365 days). no vig.

I studied all the advantages and disadvantages and advantages in betting quite a lot, but there is just a huge risk. I tried to analyze sports matches, study the physical form of teams, but in the end I realized that this is complete randomness. You do not know what will happen on the field. Besides, there are a lot of match-fixing matches and there is a chance that you will bet on such match. I don’t want to risk my money and spend time on betting. In my opinion, it’s best to do it for pleasure and to relax after a hard working day. For example, I play online games every night on the website clubvip777 and sometimes I win and even earn money, but this is only an online casino and you should not get into the excitement to earn more.

do you really think so?

Unless they listed the bet differently than usual...

Your bet was over 2.5 wins of 12. If any games are canceled, all bets on 12 games are off.

the casino s/b able to tell you at this point - call the book

This is correct, I would also assume that if they still had 12 games the fact that the teams being played the wager would be deemed a "No Bet"

In most of the cases they have to return your betting ticket back, but there are different bookmakers, that could be registered in different states, so they are supposed to work respecting the other state rule of law, not your state. That is why you should look carefully through company papers when you want to put a bet or other sort of gambling activity. There are also some honest bookmakers, like W88 but anyway you should be careful.

Here are some examples of fine print within refund policies at certain sportsbooks. Caesars Sportsbook has a clear rule that requires 81 NBA games to be played before a wager placed on a team’s win-loss total is deemed valid. Similarly, William Hill requires that 160 games be played in order for any MLB regular season futures bet to be counted. If these game thresholds are not met, these sportsbooks retain the right to cancel the bet and there’s nothing the bettor can do. Should’ve read the fine print, they’ll say.
