Fox Sports article takes note of a change

Love the piece. I am currently cautiously optimistic. The quality of basketball is obviously better. We did a nice job OOC. A lot of teams usually slip up at one point. I'm happy we didn't. I hope they can get it done in conference play. The first 5 games are important.

Wow, this reads like it was written by RutgersAl.
I think we really need to be patient since the schedule is certainly going to be a lot more challenging than any of the 11 wins. Keep in mind that we have lost our two games to better teams even though we did pretty well, especially on the road.
The NIT would certainly be a great accomplishment for this program.

Think that was some Bleacher Report like amateur (i.e. Unpaid) effort. "Fansides".

I think we win a few B1G games at home. We lost to the better programs on the road.

If we win enough games to be one or two over 500 then I think we can say we are one year ahead of schedule. I remember looking at the preseason rankings on both Sagarin and Massey and one had us winning 4/5 and the other had us at 8/9. We have already beaten that so I am just enjoying this for what it is worth. Remember, other than CJ this whole team returns next year. If one or both recruits are shooters this could be really nice to see.

I hate these kinds of puff pieces written by some clown who has no idea what he's doing, but in this case I'll make an exception. I do NOT want to see NIT talk, though, as that ain't happening. But I do think postseason bids will come more quickly that expected. That much I'll buy.

Right now I do think we can think of the possibility of the NIT, even though it is probably a remote one. Quite a few good things obviously have to happen, but why not dream while we can. Certainly, nobody was thinking of it before the games started.
What a great story we would be for the area.
