Yeah agreed. It’s great exposure. Nobody should care in Michigan asks to “pass”. Friday draws will be great for most schools in the conference given the media interest in showcasing the games on prime channels.

It's very similar to the old Thursday night games of the Big East. Became must see TV for me when we were doing well. Love Friday night games.

Was reading that you should look to see more weeknight sporting events in general and Fox is using Friday night CFB to replace WWE. I don't watch the NBA but read NBC will be putting out weeknight Tuesday games. You might see more sports replacing scripted shows. Could be similar to the influx of primetime game shows/reality shows that get sprinkled throughout the week. I even read you might see sports on weekday afternoons possibly.

I'm fine with them, just don't have kickoff's starting at 11 pm on the east coast. It's a brutal time slot.

And early in the season too serves a few purposes. You’re not losing a good beach day in September, avoiding a potential hot day game or freezing on a cold November night

It was good exposure highlighting Nebraska’s home field which often gets overshadowed by the blue bloods despite their rabid fan base.
