Watched the play several times in slow motion on DVR and it looked like a bad call to me. Unless Melton initially lined up offsides, which you can't see from the television camera angle, it looked like a bad call. He flinched, started to lift his foot and then put it down in the exact same place without moving forward. Didn't appear that he moved forward until after the ball was snapped. I could be wrong, but from what I saw on the slow-mo replay, we got screwed..

Maybe the thick-headed cultists are seeing a glimpse of what us level-headed fans with actual football understanding see with Schiano. He's a mediocre big East coach. He's failed everywhere else... I mean everywhere. It's so obvious he doesn't have the capacity or agency to coach, player develop and build a competent program in the modern Big 10.
If you don’t make the throws in practice, you don’t suddenly throw with accuracy in the games. I don’t understand why that concept is so hard for some fans to understand. Wimsatt is a project and always has been no matter how many stars some rating service gave him as HS recruit.

He is a great salesman. He looks and talks the part and a lot of our older fans eat it up. He knows it, and he also knows that as long as plays the part and keeps their support he has the safest job in P5 football.
