One slight upset, although maybe not really considering where the game was played

Big Ten

New Mexico 72 Minnesota 53 - I guess this is an upset
Wisconsin 89 Northern Illinois 62 - 5 Badgers in double figures

Other RU Opponents

Tulane 61 Mississippi 59 - Green Wave took lead for good with 1:16 left
Green Bay 65 Loyola (Chicago) 51 - only 3rd home game for Phoenix

Also

North Carolina 80 South Carolina Upstate - the not-as-rare-as-usual double-up

Other Ranked Teams

#2 South Carolina 86 Hampton 48 - 22 and 12 for Coates
#5 Texas 92 Canisius 62 - Longhorns 9-0
#9 Mississippi State 78 Southern Mississippi 65 - closer than I would have guessed
#15 Stanford 69 #14 Tennessee 55 - Lady Vols trailed by 18, got within 7, but no closer
#19 UCLA 47 California Irvine 25 H - pretty sure I know where this is going

I watched the last part of the Stanford-Tennessee game, and the Cardinal bounced back nicely from the Tennessee run. (Also, multiple CVS mentions because the win put VanDerveer back into a tie for 3rd all time in wins.)

Today:

Big Ten 1-1
Other RU opponents 2-0

Year to date:

Big Ten 96-32
Other RU opponents 64-35

There have been no palindromic scores in 26 games completed so far today. That makes 13 palindromic scores in 1,532 games so far this year.

UNM/MINN was definitely a good win for the Lobas. We'll take it. It was a homecoming game for Shumpert, a senior, who had probably the best game of her UNM career. Last year's game at The Pit against Stanford and this game give fans hope that there will be a return to glory days--although UNM glory days do not compare to RU glory days in WBB.
