The most interesting game was in Lincoln, of course, but there also were three top 25 upsets.

B1G

#25 Indiana 75 Wisconsin 68 – Penn had 21 points for the Hoosiers
Purdue 57 Northwestern 54 – Boilermakers go to 4-1 in B1G

Other RU opponents

Drake 84 Valparaiso 53 – no contest
#21 South Carolina 76 LSU 53 – 29-11 1st quarter set the tone

Other ranked teams

#1 Notre Dame 78 Wake Forest 48 – Mabrey led the Irish with 18
#2 Louisville 61 Georgia Tech 44 – maybe a bit closer than you’d expect
#3 Connecticut 63 South Florida 46 – Bulls led after 1st and game was still in reach at the half
#5 Oregon 72 UCLA 52 – lost weekend in Oregon for the Bruins
#6 Stanford 78 Arizona 48 – not great news for Wildcats’ top-25 hopes
#8 North Carolina State 66 Virginia 38 – your basic drubbing
#10 Oregon State 76 Southern California – Trojans still winless in P12
#12 Syracuse 90 North Carolina 77 – Tar Heels still winless in ACC
Georgia 66 #13 Tennessee 62 – Lady Vols 1-3 in SEC, shockingly
#15 Marquette 72 Georgetown 62 – Hiedeman had 20 and 10 for the Golden Eagles
#19 Arizona State 62 #24 California 61- Golden Bears definitely dropping out of top 25
Clemson 57 #22 Florida State 45 – breaks 18-game losing streak v. Seminoles

Also

DePaul 66 Villanova 59 OT – surprising it went to OT
Seton Hall 79 Providence 73 – Pirates tied with DePaul in BEast
West Virginia 66 Oklahoma 55 – halfway through the season, Sooners are 5-10
Washington State 74 Colorado 48 – Buffs probably had most deceptive 10-1 start in a long time

Today:

B1G: 0-0
Other RU opponents: 1-1

Year to date:

B1G: 109-37
RU opponents: 90-64

- I saw some of the Tennessee game on TV and this was the first time they lost 3 games in a row in over 30 years. Just think about that.

- Colorado tends to do better OOC than in the Pac. As a pattern through several coaches. That said, I "think" one of the PAC fans that posts on the Boneyard said they had an injury to their "key" player. I miss all that, because I don't get the PAC 12 network at home, never mind in the hotel.

- Arizona was not legit top 25 material. Before my wife's surgery I was going to as many games as I could and they are doubtless much improved - and enjoyable to watch - and with a bright future - but, top 25, um, no. Not yet.

.

Do you think the 3 straight losses will drop Tennessee from the Top 25? Like many of the blue bloods, they seem to always get votes even when not deserved.

Looks like enough space should be opening up in the lower echelons of the Top 25 to allow Rutgers to work its way in, especially following 2 more conference road wins and its status of standing alone in first place in the B1G.
