Gannett NJ with a Title IX Hit Piece on Rutgers Athletics; 9/9- Another Deficit Article

Sad thing is that there are people that eat these types of articles up. Let's face it media sucks and has no credibility but there are people who are not engaged enough and take what is written or said at face value. Hey some believe whatever the NY Times writes.

Don’t worry Melanie.

Soon football and basketball will break away from the NCAA and most women’s sports will go poof.

If football and basketball are still connected Rutgers, an institution subject to Title IX regulation, then the fact that they drop out of the NCAA is irrelevant. Nothing goes poof unless everything goes poof.

Those articles are generally behind paywalls. I would rather my money go towards our football team than towards that pile of crap paper. That probably angers that pile of crap paper.

All of these Olympic sports are going to go away. The game is changing, and it’s happening quickly.

They likely won’t be connected to Rutgers honestly, they’ll just have an affiliation of some sort. School won’t be mandatory for any of these guys, it’ll just be a benefit.

Oh the times they are a changin
