RU finishes No. 182 (RPI)

Its a encouraging sign that Rutgers is ranked lower than 200 along with Monmouth and St.Francis ,NY.The only problem is that ranking is meant for a MAAC type team not a member of the B1G. Jordan has a impossible job because the players he can get for Rutgers simply aren't good enough to compete in a power conference.Where is the magic potion to end the lack of relevance for mens basketball?

They lose a lot if Dekker goes. Three seniors and Dekker.

well Kentucky is losing everyone again. They could wind up top 10 but remember a few years ago with an entire new cast they sputtered and didn't even make the tournament.

I am not so high on Indiana producing. Remember Crean is a guy they wanted canned and he didn't do a great job with them defensively this year.

I think Villanova better start scheduling strong to prove that they belong in the top 10

After the mass exodus in Lexington, there's no way that's a top-5 team. It's also being reported that Virginia's Justin Anderson is considering turning pro. If Anderson leaves UVA, Carolina will probably be preseason #1. Maryland could be preseason #2 if Damion Lee replaces Dez Wells at the two, but is top-5 regardless. I think Iowa State should be #3 and Kansas #4. Gonzaga or Michigan State could be #5.
