Penn State always travels well, especially to a stadium as close as Rutgers. Pitt (who NEVER sells out there stadium) had tickets leaing up to the game starting at $250 for nosebleeds, no other school on their schedule (including VT) had a ticket start at higher than $8

Athletic total fines for Cleary were 27,500.... About 1% of fines... Please please do your homework before posting crazy shit.... If they dug in as hard at any university they would all get similar fines.... And really not even a little about athletics ... The fines were administrative failures.
Something tells me RU fans will be willing to pay a similar amount as a "get out" price around halftime or so.
Looks like I'll be waiting for the last minute dump. I have 3 friends who want to come, but they're not paying $80. Not a chance.
The fact that only 27K of the fine was specific to the Sandusky travesty just shows it is a much broader systemic issue at PSU.
I have no idea what that means so I'll take it as agreement. Not many schools get hit with roughly 10 million in fines and law suit losses at about same time.
I am expecting at least 50/50, but would not be surprised with 60/40 State Penn. $80-90 for a ticket should not dissuade Penn State fans in the metro area, and there are a lot of them and they are starting to crawl out of the woodwork again after laying dormant since the Paterno scandal.
