It was just an example showing how the team doesn’t have 24-hour access to a facility and how the practice facility fixes that and helps tremendously with recruiting. He wasn’t trying to say graduation week alone kills the team.

The RAC is used for many days in may & June for awards days and many high schools in the area have their graduations at the RAC in June.

It is kind of silly to mention things that happen in May or June, but the point remains the same. Hard to believe we've gone this long this way.

Maybe Coach didn't cite the most efficient example, but his point is overwhelmingly valid...don't find it silly at all. College basketball has become virtually a year round commitment, making every month vital and important to the head coach.

After all, there is another Division 1 Big Ten program they are forced to work around, and they them.

The building isn't 24 hours, and despite the fact that some of the guys now have keys, access is limited for any number of reasons during the season and beyond.

Aren't there also graduations held in December?

I think we all know what it means when someone starts out by saying, " Not to be a Jerk".

Maybe the most ridiculous criticism of a Coach.....ever.
