I want to see the Hawkeyes win and go perfect 12-0 (can't let tOSU be the only B1G team to do that sort of thing). Also, I think that would pretty much cement their playoff chances, regardless of whether or not they win the conference championship.

Anyway, go Hawkeyes!

I'm rooting for the Hawkeyes too but brother they are a very undeserving #4. A win over the B1G East winner will validate their record, that is if they get past 5-6 Nebraska.

Hard not to like Iowa. I just don't think they are one of the 4 best teams in the country.

I just think its amazing that, after several seasons of the Iowa fan base calling for Ferentz's head (and, as recently as just before this season began) and claiming that he was overpaid, they are on the cusp of their best season in history.

They have to go 13-0 to have any shot at the playoffs. Their division is weak. They got the cake walk of cross divisional games Indiana and Maryland. Plus out of conference Illinois St., Pitt, North Texas and Iowa St. is not exactly murders row.

They allow all of their opponents to stay close. Ferentz must have made his pact with the devil. They've all gone his way.

He had some good years though earlier in his tenure . So he had some good equity built up

Nebraska is part of the same division with Iowa, not a cross divisional game.

Thanks fixed it, it's even worse Indiana. They got the crème de la crème of cross divisional games.

I sure as hell hope 4 mil. a year gets you better results than 7-6, 4-8. 8-5, 7-6 the last four years with their schedule. If he was here making that amount of money with these results we would be screaming for his head as well. The only reason he wasn't fired was because of his ridiculous buyout. Don't think their going to sign him to another 10 year contract after this year.

I think the B10 should be in now that Iowa won. It would take a double upset with PSU and Michigan winning for them to possibly still be left out. If either OSU or MSU win then the B10 champ should be in without issue.

Unimpressive Iowa continues its relentless crawl to the NC game. I think their win today is the last of the season. They lose to the B1G East champ and will be crushed in their bowl game, especially if they go to the Rose Bowl.

Ferentz show some guts by telling Ruddock he was not going to start if he came back and watching him go to Michigan and do pretty well. Meanwhile his new guy comes in and goes undefeated in the regular season. Many times it just do not work out that well.
