I read this thread and then went to the story, expecting to find that he had said something terrible. What he said wasn't especially nice -- that he didn't feel a need to rush to return from his injury because Rutgers was the opponent -- but I think people here are being overly sensitive. When you lose 37-0, you have to expect some shade to be thrown at you by the opposition.

Just based on the years in the Big10 we are 3-6 against them with an average score 36-20.. We didnt beat Maryland the way they have beaten us. 31-24 was our most dominate win against them. Only time we dominated Cuse was with Greg robinson. Everyone else did the same.

let's get real with UConn- with their schedule- even our very mistake prone team wins 7-9 games.
With our own schedule- our mistake prone team should have won 6.

So, I will not shit on UConn or Cuse but I will defend our kids.

I do have to say that I have to give Cuse some credit- they had some wins that we would have been blown out in. But, like us, very low on depth and it is why the 2nd half of their season sucked for them.

What so many coaches do around the country when they have lesser talent is to either get a QB with skill or a gameplan that can make the QB successful.

There have been some really shitty QB's that help their teams win because of the gameplan. And until we find a 1st round QB to play for us or get a OC that can gameplan for our personnel- we will be stuck with the GS method of running in the mud

I don’t think it’s going to divide the fanbase . I am one of the guys that was thrilled with schiano coming back . Now, I realize I may have been wrong and seldom am I ever wrong with rutgers coaches.
