He was at practice today. You can view SL article for confirmation. I did not link it.

Seems to me that if he went to practice today, that RU is the likely choice on April 15.

Just my observation.

st my observation.

No he's going this week. Worth noting Haskins was also at practice today.

If he's going to OSU this week then him going to RUs practice means absolutely nothing

Haskins there today is a good sign. That was an even bigger surprise to me. April and May could be huge.... Or just a big tease

Really. Your logic is perplexing. Why would he go to Rutgers today then.

he stated he is evaluating three programs and will make a decision on the 15th. Looks like he is true to his word and still evaluating.

His father was there with him and spoke to Flood for a long time. This visit does mean something.

I would be shocked if he doesn't go here. It makes the most sense for multiple reasons.

Seems like a reasonable hypothesis.
Yea but what about the gray Tshirt and black pants, could be a veiled expression of support to OSU They are Grey and scarlet and they are going with black out uniforms this year. hhhmmmmm

I would say that Tennessee makes the most sense.

JG backed out of OSU commitment because of too much competition at the qb position. And ironically the pressure to lead Rutgers to the promised land will be equal to any pressure he'd face at OSU. Tennessee is the easy option. And if he leads them to a couple successful seasons he'll be touted by espn as the greatest qb in college football those years.

I understand that your point is to not read too deeply into a prospect's wardrobe -- but those shoes are legit Tennessee Volunteer orange. And, unlike gray and black, you don't tend to see creamsicle-orange worn very often at all.

I call BS. And those shoes are SALMON, the same color as RU's uniforms!!!

This is silly. Of coarse you do. You see it every day with kids and younger adults.

And Richard Simmons.

I know it is kind of crazy to read into a kids wardrobe..... but I can't lie when I saw that photo the first thing I noticed was the orange shoes and I wondered for a minute if it could mean something. But then I came to my senses and stopped lol.

Well, you could say he wanted to pay Flood a personal visit to let him know he's going in a different direction (i.e., TN) but why on Earth would you do that in person? Do it over the phone or let it play out.

I'd like to think this recent visit is just a matter of him paying another visit to where he's feeling comfortable and confirming it after a good TN visit and before his final tOSU visit. Expect another visit after this weekend/Monday trip to tOSU. I'm going with he wants to confirm that this is where he wants to be and wants to make sure. He really wants to come here but when he's got TN and tOSU chasing him as hard as they are, he needs to make sure. But he's sold on the program and wants to be a part of something special. He wants to be a leader. He's coming to the Banks, I hope.

Have to agree. Armin, you're saying that a guy that wants to be, let's be honest, BMoC is afraid of competition (tOSU) and/or being the leader of a movement to bring a program to a higher level (RU.) If that's the kind of guy he is, then I guess we don't want him. But he's not, and we do.

Which is the dumb part?

The fact that he was ready to commit to OSU and then didn't cause a guy unexpectedly committed to OSU at QB.

Or the fact that being a Rutgers qb means you are going to be booed in your own stadium even if you're statistically the best RU has ever had. Cause the last 2 have.

Or is it that I said espn inflates the value of anyone in the SEC.

Or maybe it's that I said Tennessee is the easy option. But maybe you misunderstood that. Tennessee plays in the SEC. They aren't a winning program and haven't had more than 7 wins in 8 years and only 1 winning season in that time. The pressure there will not be as great there as it will be at Rutgers or OSU.

Does anyone know what color under wear he had on? If its Scarlet does that mean he's a Rutgers lean or he's a little light in the loafers?

I look at it this way.

The more he visits RU, the tighter he is with the other guys on the field, and the harder it is to choose somewhere else.

Did anone ask him what color his boxers were? Boxers are always a dead giveaway. Socks too they are always a big indicator. Lets look at recent history Trey Sneed just commited to RU and his twitter background was Ohio Stadium....he pulled it after someone pointed it a
Out and he responded ....."wow lol hadnt noticed".

So maybe everyone is spending a little too much time thinking about what HS kids are thinking or projecting!

JG should read this article before he chooses Tenn.
That's what I have said before. Jones is tearing it up with recruiting, but then again, so was Brady Hoke.
1. Butch Jones, Tennessee ($3.2 million)
We're not suggesting Butch Jones is a lousy coach. It's just that he hasn't proven anything at Tennessee to deserve his pay.

all this speculation cracks me up, the kid is having fun at recruiting, I have no idea where he will go or if he will flip flop over the next year, with that said hopefully he annouces for us, because it will create a buzz and the old mo

I hope we get him. It will be a game changer for multiple reasons and will change my view of Flood as a recruiter if the commit holds up. Having said that, the smart money is overwhelmingly on his going to Tennessee due to the personal connection between the Dad and head coach there and, sadly, that's where I believe he ends up.

i know people say don't read into twitter, but when the kid's "favorites" are 90% UT football and girls from UT, I think its hard to have confidence he's going elsewhere. And if that's the case, i'd rather have the future leader of the team be someone that wants to be here. I think we could be fortunate and have that in Dwayne Haskins Jr. That kid can step in right away as QB1. Would be an amazing addition!

I was pretty sure JG was not coming here. But I gotta say, all his recent visits, idk, I think its a good thing.

Word from catholic school coaches is that he is Tenn bound but JG has a good relationship with Bartels and this is probably a courtesy visit. I like the fact the RU is not giving up b/c FVCK UT. I hope RU recruits him until February!

Winner of the most ridiculous post of the week. JG is a long shot and Haskins is twice the long shot. Also if JG does sign, there is literally zero chance Haskins would commit.

This is the true chart of determining where he's going. Color represents the school. Make sure to check those boxers!

And maybe sometimes a person finds a comfortable shoe and just wants to keep wearing it regardless of where he is

Trooper may not be subtle but i question the logic of his informants. 6 courtesy visits. WTF.
