Guirantes earned the first Big Ten Player of the Week honor of the 2019-20 season back on Nov. 11, and followed that up with a mention on the Big Ten Honor Roll following Week 2. Guirantes becomes Rutgers' first repeat B1G Player of the Week since Betnijah Laney won three awards as a senior during the 2014-15 season.

Clearly the most talented player we have had in the last 3-4 years. She can shoot, drive , pass and rebound and plays decent defense. She should have even more plays run for her. I am expecting big big things from her this year and she is off to a great start.
