this guy is seriously weird. from the intent look on his face I think he would wrestle a kid or the old guy next to him for the ball.

look at me everyone! I,m Jim Harbaugh..what a wierdo.its allways about himself and promotion.

He may be a good coach, but what a weird human...he easily goes beyond quirky and odd into creepy!

As long as recruits don't think he's weird I'm sure he doesn't care what message board adults think

He's sitting intently and quietly at the game, what is weird about that? If you're in the front row at a big league game with a woman an older man or a kid, you should have a glove.
I saw some hideous injuries to people in those seats in my time, as an on deck hitter we regularly told fans to pay attention.

LOL. He looks a bit like Charlie Sheen here. Wouldn't be surprised if they R one in the same...That kid either looks like a porcelin dummy or that kid from the Yankees movie where Ruth (or on Seinfeld Tino?) promises to hit 2 home RUns.

I once sat 4 rows behind the Yankees on deck circle in the old stadium without a glove. If I ever sit that close again I would bring a glove. Foul balls come back quickly. People around me had their hands full with food and drinks. No way would I have something in my hands during play.

As I said earlier, it was an unwritten rule for on deck hitters to remind families to pay attention, both home and on road.
There's been instances where it appears on deck hitters are jawing with a fan, the reality is they're telling them to watch your kid.

Why don't they extend the netting behind the catcher over to dugouts. If I had a net in front of me I would have spent more money of food and beer.

He's an eccentric guy no doubt and does some weird things but to date nothing I've read/seen that he's done illegally. I think he's a very good coach and as of now the eccentricities don't bother me. He's watching a game intently, no big deal IMO. On top of which it's one picture, a still frame of a small moment in time.
