Has it come to this? Is RU really the doormat of the B1G ?

are talking about 2015?
with what i saw yesterday on the field, i say our neighbor is Indiana.
everyone else is above us. anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional or not watching.

What if we are currently the doormats of the B1G or for the next 5, 10, or even 20 years. Look at Northwestern, they were doormats for decades, hired the right coach and BAM in 1995 they made it to the Rose Bowl. Stop thinking about yourselves, you may never see Rutgers compete for B1G titles in your lifetime, but the fact that we are in the B1G means that perhaps one day in the future you children, or their children will see Rutgers in the Rose Bowl. When we are getting our ass kicked right now, just put a smile on your face and comfort yourself knowing that 20-25 years from now the shoe might just be on the other foot. Cheer up and think long term.
WOW, Thanks didn't think of it like that. You just made my day. All I have to do is live for another two decades and here we come Rose Bowl. You have to promise me though when we make it you have to wheel me around in my wheel chair because I'm not going to miss it for the world. We'll get great seats with my senior citizens card I promise. See you in 2035 and you better keep your promise.:)

I seriously hope you're being sarcastic, if you are, good job. If not, I'm scared.

You are predicating all of this on an "IF" are you not?

Since the game against Nebraska and the rest of the schedule has not yet been played it's all speculation. After watching Nebraska and knowing how much better Rutgers plays at home and how much better they play with Carroo.......I am not putting the Nebraska game in the loss column. I think it's winnable, some may disagree.

Army and Maryland are certainly winnable games and Rutgers will be favored in both.

Therefore, 6-6 is very possible....even with the horrible Flood as coach and Laviano at QB.

I have full confidence that during the nebraska game our coach will reverse the team's bad fortune and make them look like champs...I'm talking about nebraska by the way.

I can't think of any other team that qualifies.Somebody tell me otherwise PULLEEZ!
We beat Indiana at their place just two weeks ago, or did you miss that. Hard to call us a bottom feeder and not them, or MD, or Purdue or Illinois, or Minnesota, or even Nebraska this year.

Lets wait and see how the games against NU and MD play out before we declare ourselves to be the worst team to have ever played the sport.

In fact let me look at the standings - oh right - MD has even fewer Big Ten wins than us. As does INdiana. Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, and Nebraska all have ONE Big Ten win, like us. NEBRASKA.

So get a grip. Things arent great. Flood isnt Meyer, and RU isnt Wisconsin. Maybe we make a bowl. Maybe we dont and Flood gets fired. Maybe we dont and Flood retains his job for another year or two until the bad recruiting just makes it untenable to keep him even as a cost saving measure.

The great thing is - we will still be in the Big Ten. We will still be a huge state school in a very populated area with tons of FB recruits and plenty of room to grow. We arent Minnesota or Indiana or Illinois who are generally bottom feeders even after a century of Big Ten level investment. We are as good as those teams with Big East/AAC level investment and the least qualified coach at this level.

Worse display of football since the Shea era. Yes, we are the worse in the B1G. If we wanted to compete we should have been in the ACC. But we went for the money.
Its not even the worst display of football in the Flood era. Oh, and you know 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2010. Seriously. Settle the f*ck down.
