Have not seen a “stretch” play to create space and holes.

Correct me if I’m wrong..
Usually off tackle or up the middle. Very standard stuff but lacking in our runs.
No speed in the skill positions. Is a pure north/south running team for better or worse. Well, obviously worse but you know what I mean.

The decoy jet sweep isn’t fooling anyone.

Nothing in the playbook fools anyone.

Like to see some seam route throws to the tight end.
You'd think with Monangai being such a threat that any playaction pass to a TE up the seam would be pretty easy as LBs and even Safeties bite on the fake to come up and stop Monangai.

I found it pretty crazy that we established KM as a run threat to USC, did run some early playaction stuff.. then abandoned it. That Philly special.. notice KM touched the ball and everyone bit. Easiest TD ever. You'd think we'd use KM as a decoy every damn down where a run fake might work (ie not 3rd and 10).

It’s why it is baffling watching our playcalling

they don’t know how to use players properly on either side of the ball

Personally, I thought our offense looked great when Ralph Friedgen was the OC.

That under center, play-action bootleg along with motion and bunch formations made things user friendly for Nova.

And yet the O went for over 400 yards. So strange. I think the lack of deception prevents those TD scoring plays while we can still move the ball to do seemingly random coincidences of play call success.
