First Rutgers football will beat Viginia Tech and possibly Washington and even possibly Nebraska. A 5-0 start would bring incredible heat to the football program. It gets very challenging from there but even at 4-1 we will be at a new peak for the Schiano Part 2 era.

On the basketball front, Ace is going to pop eyeballs out of heads. He will be the best player on the court nearly every night. To my mind his star shines so bright it diminishes Harper a bit...and obviously Harper is capable of playing at a very high level. The rafters of the RAC will melt from the heat.

We are on the dawn of an exciting new epoch for Rutgers sports.

Indeed, Ace will provide the most eyepopping plays game in and game out, but Dylan will consistently be our best player. If you had to pick one player on the team you don't want to miss a game, it's Dylan. That will become abundantly clear quickly.

Yes, but we need to focus on Va. Tech right now.

Not only are these the Good Ol' Days but it feels like these are just the start of the Good Ol' Days that will continue for a long time. Oddly, I look at our political choices and it has me despairing for that part of the future but on the Rutgers side of things the future looks bright.

Hope you are right re: long term but it will obviously be very unlikely to come close to sustaining the talent we will have for just 1 year.

To me this is more of a ‘now or never’ year.
