Connections to HS mean crap if your a good recruiter and a name.

Nick Sabn could walk into any NJ High School and say I want you to play for me, and that kids would giggle like a girl at a One Direction concert. This NJ ties thing sometimes gets overplayed a little .

I also like Campbell and Moglia . Moglia would be great in transition until we can pay someone more as he is on the older side

Campbell is off the table already.

Not my favorite choice and his success would totally depend on coordinator choice and I'm not optimistic in him doing a good job in that department. Mark D likely tied to his hip still and his stats on both offense and defense are mediocre at best given all the talent and weaker competition he had to go up against. I do like that he did decide to switch to spread tempo offense but again his coordinator choice (James Coley) didn't do anything special. BTW a name I see tossed around here for some reason, Jedd Fisch was his first OC there but again nothing special. I don't know why people bring his name up other than it's a NJ guy and he's been mentioned in an article probably just for that reason. His stats at Miami were eh, don't know about his other stops.

Fisch wasn't good at Minnesota or in the NFL with Jacksonville either.

I am not sure what to feel about seeing people ripping into our most likely replacement for Flood.

We need someone who can recruit and rebuild the program until 2021.

When we have a fanbase that rips into our QB after running onto the field after taking a huge hit, this is nothing!

I'm not ripping anyone. I'm stating my opinions and preference and which are backed up by facts I've posted before and here again. I did the same when Flood was hired and said I was doubtful he'd do well here and gave the reasoning. I have every right to give my assessment of the guy or anyone else for that matter and it's not some unfounded "he sucks" without any reasoning behind it. That would be ripping. Anyone can debate the points if they disagree.

If he's the guy coordinator choice is extremely important. That doesn't just go for Golden that goes for anyone who I see as a CEO coach. He was a coordinator but I've never seen him as some x/o expert or developer of whatever talent he gets. So coordinators choice is important. The ones he chose at Miami leave a lot to be desired considering all the talent and competition.
