Really a nice job. USC has much more talent. His teams play good defense and he runs some nice stuff on offense.

Yes, came back from 22 down and cut it to 3 - lost by 6 or so. Talent wise, they were outmanned.
Like to watch good games no matter who is playing. It turned out to be a good game.
What a stupid statement by an obvious moron. You can play well and lose. Eight year olds haven't figured that out yet.

USC was also in a
nail biter against Brown in their previous game and lost to UC Irvine the game before that

For those who can take off their scarlet colored glasses, the Big East is very good this year so far. Marquette, Creighton, UConn, and Seton Hall have all looked impressive. Tonight, the Hall showed toughness and resilience and physicality. The game in two weeks will be a challenge for Rutgers.
You felt the need to post on a Rutgers board that a random coach lost a game against a team that’s already dropped a game to UC Irvine?
I agree the top of the Big East is very good. But what exactly leads you state that the Hall has been impressive so far this year? They beat Wagner, St Peters, FDU and Albany. They were non-competitive in the first half yesterday. They did fight back and play hard in second half but still lost on a neutral floor to a good (not great) USC team. Also, Creighton was throttled yesterday by 21 to unranked Colorado State.
The Holloway comment here is odd because Dawes of Seton Hall took 10 3s in the 1st half vs USC.....and went 0 for 10.
First of all, I didn't see this game from start to finish, but if Chow thinks this is good coaching, I am not sure what to tell you. If any RU guard, even a Gavin Griffiths, Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey shot 10 3 pointers in a 1st half AND had his team down double figures at halftime, the message boards here would be on full meltdown.
On the other hand, if I was Pike and Dylan Harper, Gavin Griffiths or Ace Bailey had 10 decent looks from 3 and somehow missed all 10, it would show the upmost confidence in my 4 or 5 star player.
But amir Dawes taking 10 3s in a half, is coaching malpractice.....once you missed the 6th or 7th, you're probably better off driving to the hoop.....BUT with USCs size and one player almost having 10 blocks by himself, maybe 10 3s isn't such a bad idea.
Not sure there was so much of a talent disparity either SHU has about 6 to 7 Top 150 kids on their roster, either recruited out of HS or via the portal in the last 3 to 4 years. Did they have their entire team out against Brown (1-5), who played them approximately as close as Seton Hall?

Not at all. I can't believe people see it as odd. I'm a basketball fan who went to RU and spent most of my life in NJ. One of my best friends went to SHU and I just remarked that I thought Holloway was doing a good job. I don't spend my time hating other programs except maybe Franklin and PSU.
I hope he gets aggressive with Franny when their game ends against Iowa. Maybe he'll take his arm off.
Why are like all of your posts about RU basketball negative or imply something critical and then you literally start threads of our rival school's coach commending him for playing a team okay that hasnt shown to be all that good while they also now lose to Iowa who no one knows if they will be good this year or not?
