He was committed to Navy but decided to prep this year. He is eligible immediately.

Most athletes that attend West Point or USNA go to their respective prep schools. West Point Prep used to be at Fort Monmouth. Sister in Law's nephew coached there for awhile. He joked that it was all athletes and politicians family that were sent to navy and west point prep.

It is. He's transferring from Navy Prep, and will be considered as coming from Prep School, not a D1 to D1 transfer.

FCS is not D2. It's 1AA which is its own level complete with playoffs.
D2 is different. So is D3
