Loads of our fans were crying after Louisville in 2006. This was their biggest win in a long time. It's sports.
Rutgers can beat Penn State because their offense isn't that great and RU now has an offense.
I am not a Penn State fan and winning when they come here would be freakin awesome. Would make the season for me.

I wanted Ohio State to win but I must give credit to Penn State. They came back from 14 points down in the 4th quarter and scored 17 straight points and blocked 2 kicks. Schiano couldn't get his D to stop Penn State when they had to. There were 2 consecutive plays for 37 & 35 yards by Penn State that bit Ohio State. I think Meyer is probably second guessing his decision to try for the long field goal which was blocked and led to the winning score by Penn State.
Any PSU lurkers, congrats that was a significant win. David vs Goliath.
That would be great. I don't hate PSU, it is just that we never beat PSU lol. When our new men come to play for Ash we will be a tough team and the PSU RU game will be great every year. I love the RU vs PSU game no matter what the outcome.
PSU is very beatable in an away game, at home they are tough. I believe we playing them here Rutgers stadium in a few weeks. The atmosphere should be electric.
Lurker here. Your board has been fun. It's been a source of light in a very dark existence the past couple of years. This is terrible, but I will say it because it is the truth.....suffering can only be lessened when you see the suffering of others is greater than that of your own. This board is a perfect example.
There was a comment, something to the effect that what has Franklin been through that he's crying. That is very telling quote and says a lot about your fan base. Franklin is crying because he's been under tremendous pressure to get the type of win he got tonight, but mostly because he truly cares about the kids he coaches. Truth again whether you believe it or not (I assure you he does). It's telling because if you had a true tradition of winning at the highest level, you wouldn't wonder why he's that emotional....that is the pressure you put on yourself when you want to be great. Whether or not he succeeds, he is REALLY trying.
I sincerely thank you for your native sons who (before mentioned) were a great part of this win. I am only disappointed in those who went to play for that nut job Harbaugh, but I digress, can't win them all.
You may not believe this, but I do hope you win some future recruiting battles and are actually able to establish yourselves. Nothing in the world would make me happier than a true Eastern Football presence and RIVAL, to stop the blood loss to Michigan and Ohio State--rustbelt afterthoughts in everything but football.
