I think we could have raised at least 50000 to the Fire Flood campaign

If that Go Fund Me page was still up, I believe we would have passed 50k. Plus I would organize people to directly collect cash donations in the lots before this game.
Rutgers just didn't want to know how much support there is to fire the coach.

honestly, I think you are vastly under estimating this. People ON THIS BOARD knew about the campaign but it was just starting to get media coverage. Very few campaigns get a huge jump in their first 48 hours. It rarely happens.

But with each loss... I think it would be mentioned in more an more news stories. Just imagine the bump it might get with articles this weekend about something possibly happening. If people thought there was actually a chance, I think money would be coming in quickly -- possibly even some pretty large donations made as a statement.

IMO, the reason RU moved so quickly to kill the campaign was because they believed it would be rather successful. I'm not saying it would have raised $1.4 million, I'm saying it would have gone six digits though.

You guys gonna start it up again if Flood is fired? Or was it simply about attention?

I suppose the 139 or so that signed the FREE on line petition would have to ante up about $350 each to fulfill your dream.

How about just rooting for the team one day.

And, by the way, 50K is peanuts. Just to think that that much even moves the needle brands you as a small (as in very tiny) thinker. IMO RU rightfully quashed it because it was an embarrassment all around.
