If what happened at Pedd State and Baylor happened at Rutgers, the program would be shut down. I seriously think they would shut the program down and say this isn't for us.

And that is something that as an alum, I am proud of.

I am glad we are not a cult or super dirty program. Winning isn't worth that.

And rightfully so

I'm all for cheating like everyone else but not when cheating ruins people's lives.

We're ok with it because we've never accomplished anything.

We're ok with it because 3/4 of NJ residents (pre Schiano) had no idea you were a D1A football program.

We're ok with it because at the end of the day our realistic chance of winning a National Championship is on par with winning a lottery.

We're ok with it because of where we live geographically. We live in an area that sentencing Sandusky to a "life" prison sentence is not enough, so let's also kill the program. A program that frankly would be forgotten about before it's even dismantled.

That's not the case at Penn State. They have a rich history of football tradition that's hard to let go. So, residents, students, alumnus and University decided to fight for something they believe in, they fought for something they love, PENN STATE FOOTBALL. After six years of punitive NCAA sanctions they recovered with a David vs. Goliath win over Ohio State University. If their recruiting classes continue to improve they will be in the college playoffs in two years. I hope this provides some perspective on the subject.

I say let's focus on beating Indiana and forget about these silly threads.

That was not the case at Penn State. They have a rich history of football tradition that's hard to let go. So, they decided to fight to keep it alive and they have succeeded in a big way by knocking off Ohio State University. If they finish the year 9-3 or 10-2 they will seriously hurt recruiting in NJ next year and the year after.

You know what I'm OK with beating Indiana, Maryland and Michigan State. The rest of this nonsense is meaningless to me.
You forgot beating Penn St as well!
