Wonder if it was a diving accident since the only info was he was swimming at the time of accident.

Bobby Roundtree appears to be responding positively to spinal surgery after a weekend swimming accident, an athletic department spokesman said.

Roundtree was sitting up and eating Monday afternoon, the spokesman said. The Illini’s top pass rusher underwent surgery Sunday night for a severe spinal injury, the school said earlier Monday.
