15 of the 21 recruits who visited during the first OV weekend (May 31-June2) are now committed to Rutgers, and of the six that aren’t committed, four are undecided, one committed to WVU, and the sixth is DJ McClary, who was already committed to Penn State but now is a serious flip candidate.
This is an absolutely INCREDIBLE and INSANE success rate for OVs.
By the way, the four undecided guys are:
5.6 TE Tyler Kielmeyer
5.9 DT Maxwell Roy
5.8 OG (but I think we’re recruiting him for DT) Bryce Jenkins
5.6 CB Charles Bell (but I think we backed off)
Plus 5.8 LB (and potential flip) DJ McClary
So we could end up with 17 of the 21 recruits who visited that first weekend. CLOWN SHOES.
