Could say the same about Texas and PSU too.Great story but they’ve played no one. No way they deserve to be this high. Big test at Ohio State coming up.
Me too....If you would have told me in August the BIG had a surprise team that wears red in the CFP …that wasn’t Wisconsin or Nebraska.
I would have bet the house it was Rutgers
Perhaps. I’m thinking more vs. Georgia, who is not in right now. True, they have two losses, but the losses were to Alabama and Ole Miss, while they beat Texas and destroyed Clemson (OOC). I get that two losses is significantly higher than zero and you can only play who is on your schedule, but I doubt many people think Indiana is better than Georgia, and even if they are, Indiana should not be 5 and Georgia 13. Indiana should definitely be in right now since they are 10-0, but not at 5.Could say the same about Texas and PSU too.

Also take a look at who Michigan played last year OOC and how high they were able to get ranked.Perhaps. I’m thinking more vs. Georgia, who is not in right now. Indiana is undefeated and is kicking the sh!t out of their opponents. If they win against OSU, would you agree that they deserve to be #2 (since OSU beat the #4 team and lost to the #1 team by 1 point)?
Look at Michigan’s schedule last year, especially OOC. I have no problems questioning IU but I’d don’t see so many questions when a higher status program has the same kind of profile. That would be the signature win that would justify the ranking. But until that happens #5 is too high given their schedule
Terrible call.Perhaps. I’m thinking more vs. Georgia, who is not in right now. I'm rooting for them too. However, I highly doubt there was anybody who thought we would be undefeated at this point and in the top 10 of the CFP rankings. Well maybe except Al.Indiana is having the year we thought we could have. It hasn’t worked out for us the way we hoped. I am rooting for them during football season.
There won’t be any subjectiveness after they play Ohio State..and for the record, I hope you are right, I just don’t think you are.Terrible call.
Glad there are real playoffs now so we don't have to deal with this type of arbitrary subjectiveness.
I highly doubt anyone thought Indiana would be undefeated, yet here we are. FWIW, I was getting worried about Al before the Minnesota game, he was approaching rational.I'm rooting for them too. However, I highly doubt there was anybody who thought we would be undefeated at this point and in the top 10 of the CFP rankings. Well maybe except Al.
Still using that crap.Sagarin's Top 10:OSU,TX,ALA,MISS,ND,GA,ORE,PS,TENN and South Carolina.
They had the most transfers in the BIG , 32 and the new coach is a brilliant football mind. They played the new system to a T .How on earth did they do this? It takes at least 5 years to get to mediocre, and then another 10 to get to good.
