The first D1 Golf Rankings have come out based on tournaments thru 10/16. Both Rutgers teams have a lot of ground to make up in the B1G.

While all players don't yet have rankings because they don't have enough qualifying rounds, Rutgers top 3 are Weston Jones #250, Noah Kumar #308, and Argyle Downes #681. out of 1924 qualifiers.

I’m not sure if we will ever be able to make any big jump
It's like other Olympic programs. There may be a year here and there where they do well but as I'm sure you're well aware they started in the B1G well behind the 8 ball. It's got to be easier to maintain a certain level than climb up into that level.

Some of these schools have sick facilities including big time courses (OSU). Illinois has indoor and outdoor practice areas and 36-54 holes for their use. Purdue isn't far behind. Northwestern has a big golf donor or two. Even PSU puts RU to shame.
