Yes, an 0 and 5 Iowa team on the road is a 1 point favorite! Easy to take Iowa here, but wait we have an excellent defense right! How can Iowa score? Sorry, but wait again, how can we score. This is a game we should win at home. Will the aftermath of the Wisconsin game bring us down or let this team realize that they where so close to beating the elite in the BIG that they should put Iowa away? My feeling is, this team is ready for their 2nd BIG win. The Coaches will have them ready! Buy the way, I love the way this team is playing. Win or lose!

When a team has great difficulty scoring and winning odds makers will give the nod to the opposing team even when the game is on the road.In normal circumstances Rutgers should be at least a 3 point favorite as the home team between evenly matched teams.

RU can play all the defense they want but unless they hold their opponents under 50 they cannot count on any victories. Tonight is a true tossup. Rutgers has a good defense but its not a great defense, Iowa will still be able to score just like they did the last game...all comes down to can RU make enough shots on offense

If Jok doesn't play, that could help us a lot. He was 18 of their 68 points last time out, and had 11 of their 36 rebounds.

Just need to keep Ellingson under wraps from outside, though.

This is a no Bull$#!t game for RU. They have to put Iowa away. Blowing a lead and going to OT is not an option. If the game starts at 7pm I hope free throw shooting practice starts in 5 minutes and runs for 6 hours. Insane to lose games at the line. Turn-overs JAY-SUS. Wisconsin shouldn't have even been in that game.

Except the humiliating FTs. Brick....Brick.....Brick....Air Ball..... Brick.

At least Iowa is also a poor FT shooting team too, at .679 to our .628... if each team were given 20 FTs tonight and hit their average, that'd work out to just 1 extra point for Iowa.

If Jok doesn't play (.915 FT%), the rest of the team has shot .623 from the line this season.

By FTA per game (only players averaging 1.0 or more per game):
4.7 - Cook (.606)
4.5 - Jok (.915)
3.6 - Pemsl (.519)
2.8 - Wagner (.492)
2.3 - Uhl (.652)
1.7 - Baer (.649)
1.3 - Bohannon (.893)
1.0 - Moss (.818)

If Jok doesn't play, the next five guys that shoot the most FTs average a collective .571
