If Wisconsin beats Purdue, RU/Wisconsin will be game of the following week!!!Unless we win against Nebraska and they give us Gameday!! B
Yea I don’t see us getting gameday unless a lot of things align. The only week I’d see it, would be Wisconsin week and honestly there’s better matchups on the slate. If they really wanted to do it, it would be then tho.If Wisconsin beats Purdue, RU/Wisconsin will be game of the following week!!!
Last week game day hinted that Piscataway is a possibility. We shall see. Need to take care of business tomorrow.Yea I don’t see us getting gameday unless a lot of things align. I agree, ESPN would really want RU to have itEven with a win, we’d probably need either Oregon or OSU to lose. If that’s a battle of 2 undefeated teams I’d think that’s the clear game day choice.
True, but we can still dreamEven with a win, we’d probably need either Oregon or OSU to lose. If that’s a battle of 2 undefeated teams I’d think that’s the clear game day choice.
IDK about that. Think a big production from the Birthplace of College Football would be a good move for them and bring decent ratings. Fans across the country might like to see where it all started.Guys, please just get this GameDay fantasy out of your heads. ESPN is only going to a Big Ten site if it's a massive game now that they don't show Big Ten football anymore.
The ship has sailed.

Kinda with @Local Shill on this.IDK about that. Think a big production from the Birthplace of College Football would be a good move for them and bring decent ratings. Fans across the country might like to see where it all started.

So is watchable content or listenable announcing.Use bigten.org or scarletknights.com. Updating times of Big Ten games is a low priority for ESPN.
Not to be concerned .We beat them morning, noon and night. It will be alright 5and 0 and back to NJ we GOIs the Wisconsin at Rutgers game 12:00 Noon game time subject to change?

Those RU overalls are coming for ya! 😄
McAfee's face is very punchable. Lee Corso is the best one on CVS.Ohio State vs Oregon was the mega-matchup that the TV networks and talking heads have been waiting for since the schedule was announced. Two legit playoff contenders who rarely meet in an in-conference game. It's akin to Georgia v Alabama, or even more-so, Texas v Georgia, which I believe is coming in a few weeks.
That game is exactly why all the realignment has happened and why regionality in conferences is NEVER coming back. You just can't beat getting these kind of blockbuster match-ups every year. That game is literally why the B1G is getting more money from the TV networks and we're all reaping the rewards.
So, I don't think we're getting game day with a game like that going on.
That said, does anyone even watch ESPN's College GameDay anymore? I literally find it unwatchable. It's a bunch of blue blood hucksters laughing at jokes that aren't funny at all. Pat Macafee is a gigantic tool. Desmond Howard just laughs uncontrollably at stuff that is never funny. They only cover a few blue blood teams, and they only get particularly hyped over the SEC. I actually find the Fox Big Noon show to be more tolerable, and I find Urban Meyer to be one of the least likable people I've ever seen on television. But at least they really talk football and strategy and matchups on there. I truly believe it's better at this point and I think a lot of folks are turning to Fox for the college football info. Something that would have absolutely stunned ESPN executives just a few years ago.
That's assuming the audience they cater to cares about that. Or can find NJ on a map.IDK about that. Think a big production from the Birthplace of College Football would be a good move for them and bring decent ratings. Fans across the country might like to see where it all started.
Just last year that had a Gameday site at someplace they had never been and mentioned something about Corso wanting to go to new places before he exits stage left... er.. retires.
Do you work for ESPN?Guys, please just get this GameDay fantasy out of your heads. ESPN is only going to a Big Ten site if it's a massive game now that they don't show Big Ten football anymore.
The ship has sailed.
I do not work in television in any capacity, no. But I think I know how to read the landscape of college football. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I just do not see it happening.Do you work for ESPN?
Yea, I hear ya. I just feel like if ESPN wanted to do it, they would do it then.I do not work in television in any capacity, no. But I think I know how to read the landscape of college football. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I just do not see it happening.
Not a fan of his over the top schtick but I tolerate it and still watch. His student FG kick contest can be fun though.basically stopped watching Gameday since Pat McAfee took over the show
it does not matter what time the game starts,RU will not win enough games to get bowl alegible this yearOnenoon start
Nobody is tuning in to College Football Game Day to see this. It's all about the games relevance. We only care about 1869 because RU was part of it.IDK about that.
