Penn State, Oregon, Xavierwho else is recruiting him?
well I think we can beat out two of them but not sure about beating Oregon out, where is this kid from?
I believe he is from Far Rockaway, NY but I thought he was playing for St. James which I thought was in Baltimore but I might be wrong. I think Xavier was after him very hard.
Florida has quietly been showing interestwho else is recruiting him?
That team that lost to Vanderbilt three times? ;-)Florida has quietly been showing interest
This just seems like the type of player that is always missing from the roster. Tall athletic wing that can dribble shoot and attack the basket. Love to see him follow doucoure here.
Yup, that's the one :sunglasses:That team that lost to Vanderbilt three times? ;-)
The key is getting an unofficial visit immediately after the season has ended and we have his HS teammate lined up already....it doesn't mean we will land this kid, but step one is to offer and then step two is to line up an unofficial visit to pitch how the new facility will look once these prospects arrive.
If we add Mucius to Doucoure that would be 2 4 star recruits which would make it that much easier to land the 3rd and 4th. Let's get the recruiting momentum rolling! The key is getting an unofficial visit immediately after the season has ended and we have his HS teammate lined up already....it doesn't mean we will land this kid, but step one is to offer and then step two is to line up an unofficial visit to pitch how the new facility will look once these prospects arrive.
Agree....Pikiell and staff have a good pitch to sell to 2018 recruits.....a competitive program offering playing time and a brand new state of the art Practice Facility that will be completed by June of 2019..... about 10 months after the 2018 recruits get on campus in the summer of 2018.
I gotta believe that recruits love Brand New Facilities.
I bet he hears that all the time. From the videos I can see a little Hollis Copeland in his game.
Hope it happens. Really need this kid.We need this one ....badly
The early signing period is November. Right now it's all about landing visits for RU and hopefully land some guys in the summer or a little sooner. How early would we expect 2018 kids to commit? Im assuming that as soon as we hear about the transfers for next season and assess the open scholarships, we might start to get some 2018 activity at the same time as we are contemplating what to do about jucos. Grad transfers with one year are a better option but if there's a go to scorer from the Juco ranks with two years of eligibility; we might have to decide to take him over waiting for a. 2018 kid who could be a core player? Maybe that's where the professional pressure comes into play and a kid has to decide or we move on.
Hopefully the mods or some others with knowledge can try to update more on these kids as they are getting closer to deciding? I realize that may not happen as Doucoure kind of came out of nowhere with his announcement?
