You are right, it is unbelievable downward trend how we fall apart when we get a nine point lead. Last night should very easily been in the upper double digits, make dumb passes and take even worse shots. What is it about us and success...plus I hate #44 on Northwestern. That flop plus his elbowing and pulling on players was way over the top. Didn't get called for a foul until the 2nd half!
The number nine is just a reference point for some fans.What really matters is that Rutgers can't play a 40 minute game and sustain defensive effort while floundering on offense most of the minutes of games.Can't win if you can't score is the mantra that best explains what is happening in league games.
