Remember when GS was HC and DC for that stretch during his tenure here? If he came back here would it be a good idea for him to do both duties, allowing us to spend more money on a solid OC? (even though so far I think McDaniels is doing a good job)

I know a bunch of people will respond with how GS shouldn't be considered because he won no Big East titles here but he would be the best realistic hire given our current situation.

I prefer the head coach to be a specialist on one side of the ball or the other. So I agree with you in principal Spare130. That way, in theory, you can spend more on the opposite coordinator. And bring in a young coordinator on the same side of the ball to work along with the HC.
