I’m not sure anyone on this board is even that optimistic! Could you imagine?

They also have us as slight underdogs (46.2%) @ Illinois but still pretty wild. When I look at the schedule, and how this team has been performing on the road, I'm not sure I disagree with much other than us being slight favorites @Wisconsin. Just to clarify, doesn't mean I'm predicting they go 16-4 in the B1G but they might not be far off if they can stay healthy.

Obviously, The B1G is a much tougher conference than American East to figure out as a coach, but the similarities are there. Pikiell might take a few games in the beginning of each year to figure out how each piece fits where and drop a few early but he is elite when he rights the ship. I expect similar results the next 4 years.

Not to throw cold water, but.....If, for example, we have a 72% chance to beat MD at home and a 75% chance to beat Iowa at home (kenpom odds for our next two games) then we have about a 50% chance of winning both. Math is funny like that!

I like this team a bunch and LOVE this HC. I am going to watch, enjoy and stress out for the next two and a half months. B1G basketball is fun.

And the other is Indiana…. I’ve seen that story
