According to NY Times article today, KY had nine McDonald's All Americans on the team this season and Duke has eight. Wow. The rich get richer, or just stay incredibly rich.
Kentucky could lose 7 players to the NBA and Duke will lprobably lose at least two .The UConn women have the advantage where the All American squad stays at least 3 years. Elite schools do have a decided advantage in sports.
I heard one of the announcers say during the game that Duke has only 8 scholarship players. So if that guy Plumlee and that guy Jefferson are McDonald's AA's I guess that distinction has lost some luster.
