Kroft Draft Predictions

Wow. Didn't know Kroft was such a great student. All Big 12 Academic Team even tho he played in the Big 10. That's quite an accomplishment.

It seems after Minnesota's Williams, the next TE pick will depend on what a particular team is looking for at that position.

This isn't a big year for tight ends.I expect Kroft to be selected in the fourth or fifth round. His injury and less pass completions probably impacts round of selection.

I laugh when I see guys like Blake Bell ahead of Kroft in the ESPN position rankings. Bell was the Okalhoma Jabu Lovelace. Can he catch/block/run routes as well as Kroft?

He won't last past the Giants 4th round pick. He may go late 3rd.

Frankly I'm shocked he would go that high. I didn't think he had the size to block in the NFL, but I guess he does.

TEs are different builds these days. All positions standard sizes of the late 90s early 2000s have been changing the past 5 years.

Eagles in round 3. Chip is a genius. I will buy his jersey # as soon as it's available

Kroft does seem to fit the size and speed measurements that Chip loves, but the Eagles have a lot of holes to fill, and more holes could be created tonight if the rumored trades for Mariota go through. I don't think TE is a priority for them with Ertz and Celek as the 1/2 and Burton as the #3 guy.

The Saints, Packers and Browns all need TEs, I think Kroft goes in round 4 to one of them.

Unfortunately probably two rounds after the UConn phenom. Stories about de-emphasizing football won't dissuade them from being here by Saturday.
